Joshua Weishart is a professor of law at West Virginia University College of Law. His research centers on education law and policy with a particular focus on education rights and the constitutional demands of adequacy and equity. His scholarship has been published in leading academic law journals, including the Stanford Law Review, Alabama Law Review, and the William & Mary Law Review and edited collections, including the Oxford Handbook on U.S. Education Law. Weishart’s commentary has appeared in The L.A. Times and The Atlantic, among other media outlets, and he regularly contributes to the WV ED Law Blog.
